NEW ACR+ REPORT RELEASE ON UNDERGROUND WASTE COLLECTION
In our rapidly urbanising world, efficient waste management has become a critical challenge for cities striving for sustainability and cleanliness. Aiming to increase efficiency, improve urban aesthetics, and enhance waste sorting, some cities are transitioning to underground waste collection. ACR+ explores the experiences of six of them in its new report, ’Beneath the Surface: Insights from Six Cities Changing Their Waste Collection’.
Discover the benefits and challenges of transitioning to underground waste collection systems: LINK

The report provides actionable insights on optimising waste collection systems and tailoring solutions to different urban environments. It also underlines the importance of integrating the introduction of underground containers into a larger strategy including communication efforts and incentivising instruments.

The report is available only for ACR+ members but you can have access to an insightful executive summary collecting the main conclusions. A webinar will be organised soon only for ACR+ members but, if you are interested in joining it, do not hesitate to get in contact with us: Serena Lisai (sli@acrplus.org) and Jean-Benoît Bel (jbb@acrplus.org)
