Advancing the circular economy in cities: C3 free advisory programmes and LIFE BIOBEST support scheme
C3 offers advisory programmes to support cities at various stages of their circular transition:
1. From idea to strategy - Programme CCA1 2. From strategy to project pipeline - Programme CCA2 3. From project pipeline to project implementation and preparation for funding - Programmes CCA3 and CPA
The Circular City Centre - C3 ( LINK ) is a competence and resource centre led by the European Investment Bank and co-funded by the European Commission as part of the Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI). These services are provided free of charge with the external support of Circle Economy, Arup, ICLEI and ECORYS. If your city would like to apply to the advisory programme, please fill in the expression of interest form for the CCA ( LINK ) or CPA ( LINK ) programmes and send it to C3@eib.org and cca-info@circle-economy.com.
Applications for the current round are open until 28 February, after which 15 cities will be selected to participate. The workshops will take place starting April 2025. If you are interested, but not able to meet this deadline, please let us know.

The LIFE BIOBEST project proposes to provide ’personalised’ support to different European cities that collect bio-waste.
This support is free and voluntary, based on the expertise of the project partners, and will be done in English. Based on the data you can provide, the experts will evaluate solutions to improve the performance of the system and identify best practices that could inspire you. The expert will propose different conference calls: one to take stock of the current situation, possibly a second to clarify a few points following the analysis of the data, then another to make some recommendations, possibly by inviting other European cities that can provide more practical insights on the avenues to be explored.
